"Suffering is not in the fact, but in your perception of the fact."

"Suffering is not in the fact, but in your perception of the fact."

I read this statement made by Shri Bhagwan, Oneness University. It stated that suffering is just how we perceive it. Its so true. I tried to experience it and understood whatever sufferings we have in our life, its because of how we percieve things, people or situation. We blame others for all the bad events in our life.

Sometimes we hate a person so much we can't stand his or her site. But all this shows all the negative engeries in us. When we hate a person because of one particular attribute in him, we hate that particular attribute in our selves. Suppose you hate a person beause he is a selfish person, that attribute is even hidden under you. And you hate that feeling in you.

So once you work on yourself and clear out the problems within you your sufferings will inevitably end. The main thing is understanding that external sufferings are because of internal sufferings.
